We are very proud to have Jamie Halsall onboard as our head chef at Cin Cin. For those of you lucky enough to have enjoyed his dishes at Vine Street so far, you will know that Jamie’s focus on seasonal ingredients and modern Italian cooking means each plate is bursting with flavour and colour.
Jamie completed his apprenticeship in Taunton in the South West, cutting his teeth in a small kitchen much like ours at Vine Street is today. From there he rose through the ranks at prestigious London restaurants like Roux at Parliament Square, The Dorchester and Launceston Place but Jamie has always enjoyed allowing great ingredients shine through on the plate.
It was through his work as a freelance chef that we met and started working together on Cin Cin Supper Clubs held throughout London and South East. And now as a key part of the team here at Vine Street, we are very lucky to have his expertise and passion with us every day.
So next time you are enjoying a sumptuous small plate or some fantastic handmade pasta, say hi to Jamie and thank him for all his hard work. He deserves it!
