Job description

Work side by side with our founders David & Jamie and assist our fabulous team in the management of FOH operations at our Hove site, making sure the food & service we deliver is of the highest quality.

We are looking for an assistant manager with three years of experience who wants to develop their career with us at Cin Cin in Brighton and Hove.

* A tight and regularly changing food & drink menu with seasonal small plates, fresh handmade pastas, Italian mains and desserts so lots of variation and areas to help bring the brand to life.

* You must feel confident to open and close the restaurant alone, as well as supporting our management in running the service.

* You must be flexible in terms of hours and your role

* Help motivate the team in a professional and positive way, in line with Cin Cin’s brand values and culture as created by our founders since 2016.

Job requirements

We are looking for a leader but also a team player – someone who is able to problem solve the challenges of running a busy restaurant so that the experience is enjoyable, warm and calm for staff and customers.

You have worked and succeeded in a fast paced, high quality environment with a minimum of 3 years experience and have a strong understanding of the financial side of running a profitable restaurant.

Apprentice Commis Chef

We are looking for an apprentice who is willing to learn and can:

  • be extremely clean and well organised, particularly in our open kitchens
  • assist with production of our At Home delivery range and for our restaurants
  • be motivated, friendly and approachable even under pressure
  • be responsible for daily tasks like stock management and food ordering
  • want to grow with our business and be a long term member of our team.

Future Prospects

We want our apprentice to become a permanent part of the team and use their learning experience to progress through the ranks of our kitchens.  We have restaurants in Hove and London as well as a busy delivery service so lots of variety to keep you interested and engaged.  And your salary will increase on completion of your apprenticeship.

Training Provided

As well as the skills obtained through your apprenticeship, we will train you on food safety & hygiene, stock management, knife skills and you can also take part in the regular training received by the restaurant team from our food & drink suppliers.
